the battle of bunker hill response
The battle of Bunker Hill was between the redcoats and the militia army. This battle was most important because it was the first full scale battle during the revolutionary war. At the beginning of the battle the British were sitting at the top of the hill just waiting for the Americans to come on to their land. Once they Americans arrived the British started the on slot. After the battle ended both the Americans and the British lost troops to war. For the Americans defending their country is one of the most honorable things to do.

Stopping by woods on a snowy evening poem
Whose woods these are I think I know
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farm house near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake
The woods are lovely, dark, deep,
But I have promise to keep
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

To stop without a farm house near
Between the woods and frozen lake

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake
The woods are lovely, dark, deep,
But I have promise to keep
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Stopping by woods on a snowy evening response
This poem has a lot of meaning and feeling to it.
This poem mainly sounds like it is taking place around the winter solstice. The winter solstice is the darkest day of the year. In the second paragraph of the poem and the last line of that paragraph it says "the darkest evening of the year" which proves it is during the winter solstice. This story also sound like an older man is living in a town but his real place is in the woods. This old man more than likely grew up either in or around the woods. He probably wishes that he would be closer to the woods
